Keith R.A. DeCandido
Keith R.A. DeCandido first debuted the characters of Torin ban Wyvald and Danthres Tresyllione and the city-state of Cliff's End in the 2004 novel Dragon Precinct. Short stories set in that world have appeared in the anthologies Murder by Magic, Pandora's Closet, Hear Them Roar, and Bad-Ass Faeries, and a sequel novel, Unicorn Precinct, will be published by Dark Quest Books in 2011. Outside of Cliff's End, Keith has written more than 40 novels and dozens of short stories, comic books, novellas, eBooks, and nonfiction in assorted media universes, ranging from Star Trek and Doctor Who to World of Warcraft and StarCraft to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Supernatural to Farscape and CSI: NY. His first Dungeons & Dragons novel will be published in 2011. Currently he writes the monthly Farscape comic book, in collaboration with the show's creator Rockne S. O'Bannon, and he's writing several comics based on Pixar films for BOOM! Kids. Keith is also a musician—the percussionist for the parody band Boogie Knights—a podcaster—contributing to The Chronic Rift and HG World—and a martial artist—a first-degree black belt in Kenshikai karate.
